Some of the insulation products that we have available at YBS insulation include superfloor, a patented suspended floor application and offers high performance insulation the ideal solution if you are looking for a heating system underneath your floor.
These insulation products can be used under your standard floorboards or underneath tongue and groove floor panels. The super floor foil is a laminate made up from many layers of insulation foil that are covered with polyethylene to provide an insulation system that is resistant to corrosion.
The material used to make the foil is extremely high performance which helps to create an air space with low emissivity underneath the flooring meaning the heating gets reflected back into the room and less heat and energy is wasted.
When the superfloor foil is laid it can be used to increase the u values in newly built properties or older properties that have recently been refurbished which will aid them to exceed the building regulations that are presently in force.
The solid floor insulation products and applications are laminated and made from multiple layers, the highest layer is a film that is woven and split and has a locating grid that will allow you to fix the underfloor heating pipes securely. The lower level can be made from polystyrene that has been expanded or other materials that can be decided upon when you have decided what kind of budget you have to spend on the insulation products.
