At YBS Insulation we manufacture the Superquilt which is designed to be used for pitched roof insulation. Manufactured in the UK to meet the requirements laid out by BS EN ISO 9002.
The multilayer pitched roof insulation blanket provides you with great insulation in a thin membrane that is extremely flexible.
This product can be used in both under rafter and over rafter applications. For new build properties it will go over the rafters and in properties that have been refurbished it will go under the rafters of a pitched roof.
All of the pitched roof insulation products that we have available are tested to their fullest by independent bodies. It will meet and exceed the building regulations. It will meet the expected 0.16 u value. If you are considering a loft conversion on a property with a pitched roof then this is the ideal solution for your insulation. You can install the insulation in a very fast time as it is very simple to lay. During the cold winter months your house will be warmer but during the summer months any extra heat will be allowed to escape to keep your house cool.
We use multiple layers on our foil insulation products so that they give you maximum performance.
Superquilt is extremely flexible easy to lay and provides a multilayer of insulation giving you greater thermal benefits. We have run many tests on the superquilt and our tests have shown that this thin membrane has the equivalent insulation properties of over two hundred and fifty millimetres of glass wool when it is used for insulating a pitched roof application. Our thorough testing has meant that the local authority building control has given our product full certification.
