For timber frame insulation we offer you the complete solution. We have a range of timber frame solution foil insulation products. We have Breather Foil which is a breather membrane that is fire proof and can be used for venting and breathing that will help increase the u value in the walls.
Other timber frame insulation products include our roofboards which are designed to be easy to fit extremely easy and are cut to size and will exceed the requirements set out in part L of the building requirements. We also offer high performance insulation products for suspended timber floors and is only one millimetre thick.
The timber frame insulation pack that we have available at YBS is the ultimate solution to people who need the complete solution for insulating timber framed properties. The timber pack comes with three of the insulation products that we sell, the foil tec double which is for the flooring should that be timber as well, there is also the thermaflect roofboards which are ideal for the roofs that are pitched. Finally you will receive our breather foil which insulates timber but also allows it to breathe and is flame retardant perfect for timber or modular house projects.
The thermaflect roof boards are pre cut insulation for timber roofing. It comes in a silver and gold package with the silver being ideal for when you have a great rafter space but if this space is limited then the gold pack is more suitable.
These two products are ideal to be used in new build, renovations and scottish applications. The thermaflect roof boards were first designed nearly a decade ago and were designed to meet the set requirements by the building regulation of that time. Due to the newer regulations we have excelled and improved the product so that it is now treated with graphite which will further improve on the qualities of the insulation properties of the timber frame insulation products.
