We offer a range of wall insulation solutions here at YBS Insulation including the Breather Foil FR, Airtec cavity wall and Airtec dry lining, the first of these, the breather foil insulation solution is described below.
This product has been specially designed to be used as wall insulation for timber framed properties as well as modular constructions. It will also help to increase the u value of the wall.
This product can be pre fabricated or assembled at the location you are working on your project and allows the user to have maximum flexibility when they are tasked with detailing the walls without the need to purchase thicker frames and other materials which will be more expensive.
This system has been designed so that it creates an enclosure that is free from draughts sealed so that the weather cannot get to it and alter the results you are getting from your insulation when it is used side by side with cladding on the outside.
The breather foil performs very highly and will out perform breather membranes, all of our products have been tested by independent sources to ensure that they can breather very easily. It is extremely waterproof and retardant to fire and flames.
Thermaflect is another of our wall insulation products and was designed in the mid nineties as a swift response to the changes in building regulations and standards. It is made from products that are free from chloro fluoro carbons such as expanded polystyrene.
The board has a half centimetre flap on the bottom edge and the right hand edge to provide a barrier against any moisture and also stops the loss of thermal energy. The foil has a class one fire rating and the board itself has other additives that enhance the fire retardant properties.
Thermal Performance of this wall insulation allows total flexibility and is achieved as the EPS Wall Board can be used where space is available and PUR is used where space and performance is critical. Due to the unique design of Therma-Flect Wall Board the Foil bubble sheet forms an effective rain barrier.
