The Cavi Mate EPS window formers and cavity closers that we manufacture here at YBS are to be used with PVC U and timber windows.
Cavi Mate has been designed to be a robust installation system for windows which is perfect if you are involved in new build projects. They are made from PVC U they act as both window formers and window locators as well as beng a cavity closer so you can easily build around the sub frame when you have completed all the other building on the property. The cavi mate is designed to be friendly towards the user and will fit to any window styles including timber and when you use a corner cleat you can join it mechanically.
We have designed cavi mate window formers so that they offer builders a product that is easy to use and is very cost effective system to achieve the perfect window. You just need to assess the position in which the frame will seat and then calculate the width of the cavity, the frame is u shaped and you can easily use the provided corner cleat to assemble it.
